Determining the manufacture date of your Packard Bell is actually quite easy! Please note....this may not apply to older models.

Looking at the back of your Packard Bell, you will see a white label with 1 or 2 barcodes on it.

Above the first barcode, you will see "Srv. Cd", along with a combination of numbers. For example, 12 - 01611.

The first 2 digits (01) are the month, which happens to be January in this case. 6 will be the year (IE 199 6), and 11 is the day. This particular Packard Bell was manufactured on January 11, 1996.

See? That was easy!
