It would allow the kids in the family to access their programs, without the parent having to worry about them accessing their files and programs. In fact, the slogan was "Now Kids Can Launch Their Programs But Can't Access Yours!" It features a desk like interface, with programs added by the parent. The desk could not be exited without a key combination.
